As and when the need arises, we introduce new features or enhance existing features. New technologies are embraced and incorporated in to the system. We have developed our own unique methodology, which enables us to develop solutions quickly and efficiently. Any bugs or errors are traced easily and resolved as a matter of urgency. There are many State-of-the-art features developed in the system, and many of these features are unique to our system which wouldn't be found in any other packages that are available in the market.&nbsp;&nbsp; The system, not only focuses on the Sales aspect, but Management Information and Analysis is the strong theme through out the system. In fact, the more time and care taken in defining and structuring the Products in the system, the better analysis information can be extracted out of the system. The Cellular Repairs Management System was designed in December 2008 for a Sony Ericsson approved Repair Centre. It was designed as a complete ERP Workflow Management System which interfaced with our POSibility Point-of-sale System in order to produce Quotation, Invoices and Statements. Each phone is tracked from the time it is booked in to the system until it is repaired and dispatched back to the client. Every movement and status of the phone is logged and an audit trail is maintained:&nbsp;<ul><li>Awaiting Diagnosis</li><li>Awaiting Repairs</li><li>Awaiting Spares</li><li>Awaiting Swap</li><li>Awaiting Quotation Acceptance (Out of Warranty Phones only)</li><li>Beyond Economic Repair (B.E.R)</li><li>Dead on Arrival (D.O.E Escalate)</li><li>Phone Replaced</li><li>Quotation Accepted</li><li>Quotation Printed</li><li>Quotation Sent</li><li>Quotation Rejected</li><li>Awaiting QC (Quality Control)</li><li>QC Passed</li><li>QC Failed</li><li>Repaired</li><li>Despatched</li></ul>&nbsp;The system improved the Turnaround Time (TUT) for repairs to such an extent that Sony Ericsson decided to grant this Repair Centre the Reverse Logistics Hub (RLH) status, which meant that any Sony Ericsson Phone that needed repair anywhere in the country had to be brought to this Repair Centre exclusively. The System has few exclusive features that allowed user to Order Spares from SE Head Office in Germany, for the various Models, directly from the system, as well as each and every In-Warranty Repair details are extracted and sent as an electronic file to SE Head Office Germany so that the Repair Centre would be reimbursed for the Repairs by the SE Head Office. Lenasia Computer Services (LCS), a bureau that initially managed accounts for 55 (fifty-five) medical practices mainly General Practitioners, Dentists and Anesthetists, approached RapidSoft in February 1999 with a project. The objective of which initially was to convert from old Dbase system to a state-of-the-art windows based solution, and replacing the old QEDI interface with the EDIfact format interface through FirstNet. The first phase commenced in February 1999. In June 1999, the new system was successfully implemented, and full training was provided to the data capturing staff and data administrator. In the next phase, QEDI interface was successfully replaced by EDIfact format FirstNet switch interface. Introduction of the new interface to MedPrax's Medicine, Injection and Materials database, significantly tightened up the validation. It also allowed for vast improvements from the previous functionality, creating an effective, successful user-friendly environment. Some of the key features of the system are:<ul><li>Logging of each patients' visits, diagnosis, treatment, medication etc. &gt;</li><li>Matching the payments from the Remittance advice to the invoices.</li><li>Interfaces with MEDPRAX for NAPPI codes and latest Medicine and Consumables prices</li><li>Interfaces with various Medical Aid Schemes (e.g. MedScheme, Discovery Health, BankMed, Old Mutual etc.) transmitting Claims Data through Data switches such as FIRSTNET, MEDISWITCH, MX Health and Cape Medical Plan, QEDI etc</li><li>Complete Transmission Log Maintained</li><li>Statistics by Doctor / Medicine / Treatment</li><li>Windows-Based</li><li>Network Compliant</li></ul>The nature of LCS business has been changing and expanding significantly since 2000 and RapidSoft has enthusiastically met every challenge. Thus ensuring that their system remained on par with their evolving business. LCS has constantly been exploring the possibility of interfacing directly with the various Medical Aid Administrators in order to speed up the turn around time on settling of the Medical Aid claims. So far LCS has established direct links with approximately 20 (twenty) different Administrators and RapidSoft has provided the respective interfaces to LCS. The Medical Aid industry has generally been tightening up procedures in order to clamp down on fraudulent claims, to this end they have adopted several international standards. LCS commissioned RapidSoft to enhance the system to cater for these standards. For example, in 2002 ICD Codes were introduced, these are the International codes for Detail Diagnosis of patients. It is becoming compulsory for all the Practitioners to provide the relevant ICD code on each claim. The capturing of data at LCS and the validation in the system is of such a high standard that LCS has extremely good reputation in the industry for the quality of their data. Hence a large percentage of the claims submitted by LCS on behalf of their practices are settled promptly. In 2002, the Orthodontist practices were introduced into the system. A further improvement to the system was made that facilitated for specialized dental work to be settled over a period of time, usually over a 24-month period. Another important development that took place in 2002 was when Health Bridge (a Medical Aid administrator which handled approximately 1900 practices) approached LCS to facilitate the claim processing of Sizwe (another Medical Aid Administrator) data. RapidSoft achieved this by converting Health Bridge's Edifact format data to NSF format as required by Sizwe. This interface has been in operation for over a year. Since then several other Medical Aid Administrators has shown interest in LCS in order to transmit data on their behalf to various Medical Aids. Currently, we are testing the interface with Habit Solutions who administer data for several thousand Practices. In October 2003, we introduced a query logging and follow-up module in to the system. Currently, LCS is negotiating with several Group Practices, and in the meantime RapidSoft is exploring the ways and means to introduce these Group Practices in to the system.

The integrated system we designed for them consists of Order Entry, Production Planning, Fabrics Control, Manufacturing Process Logging, Packing, Dispatching, Stock Control &amp; Production Analysis. Italian Textile Industries The Italian Textile Industries is a Sock Manufacturer who specialize in school uniform socks and sports kit socks. We designed an Order Entry and Production Planning system for them. The database caters for all the different specifications of colours and stripes for each of the school in the country.

The Satellite Billing System was designed in 1995 for Transtel, the Communication Service Division of Transnet Group (a parastatal). The system was in operation until mid 2009, two years after the switch over to NeoTel. Another company, African Communication Consultants (Station Africa) also used this system from December 1999 for over Two Years.&nbsp;The System allowed users to Setup Clients with their relevant Services and equipment connections. The Call Data Records (CDR’s) from the Satellite Networks are uploaded and allocated to the relevant Clients according to the communication usage. An Invoice is generated monthly for each of the clients usage and posted to the accounting system. A comprehensive pricing structure is available for International Call Rates (Peak, Off-Peak) as well as Customer Special Rates. Extensive Reporting and Enquiry is available in the system for the Clients usage etc.The system interfaced with various Satellite Networks cdr's:<ul><li>DAMA</li><li>INMARSAT</li><li>DIGITALK</li><li>NETRIX</li><li>IRIDIUM</li><li>DEFINITY</li></ul>&nbsp;

Billing System for Satellite Networks

The Rapid GSM Communication Management System (GSM Public phones) is designed to manage airtime on the PsiTek's Adondo units. The system produces Management Information &amp; detailed reports as to the usage of each of the public phones maintained by the system. Other makes of the GSM Public Phone units can be interfaced with the system with a minimal customization. In neighboring African countries, these units are not only used as public phones but in corporate environment as well. The system has the following functional features: Airtime loaded through SMS, GSM DataCall or ISDN DataCall (Depending on make and model of the unit) Call rates setting through data calls (certain unit models only) Detailed and summarized reports on the usage of the phone Windows based Network compliant

GSM Communication Management System

The CellM@te System was designed in May 2000 for Transtel, the Communication Service Division of Transnet Group (a para-statal). At the time, Transtel were one of the Super Dealers for MTN in the Transnet Group. Employees of each of the Business Units within the Transnet Group were encouraged to signup Cellular Airtime Contracts with Transtel. Transtel managed these contracts on behalf of each of the Business Units. Some of the Subscribers were Fully Subsidized by the Business Units, others were partially Subsidized and the remainder had no subsidy from their Business Units. All this info was maintained in the System. The System was divided into two distinct operations. One which was Out Sourced to RapidSoft, had the following functionality: The System was divided into two distinct operations. One which was Out Sourced to RapidSoft, had the following functionality:<ul><li>Interface with MTN to collect and Upload the Monthly Airtime Usage details</li><li>Collect the Salary Deduction file for the Airtime usage from each of the HR Departments of each of the Business Units</li><li>Collect all the profile updates that were done by each of the Business Units</li><li>Collate the information and process it in the Month End procedure</li><li>Produce Statement for each of the Employee reflecting their Transactions together with MTN’s Itemized Billing Statement.</li><li>Post these Statements to the Employees</li><li>Produce and Deliver Control Reports for each Business Unit reflecting their Liability to MTN by their own Cost Centres</li><li>Send Salary Deduction Requests for the following Month to each of the Business Units HR department</li><li>Print and deliver the Summarized Reports to Transtel</li><li>Update each Business Unit with the latest Database</li></ul>The second System which resided at each of the following Business Units:<ul><li>Transtel</li><li>Transnet (Head Office and Several Branches)</li><li>South African Airways</li><li>MetroRail</li><li>Spoornet</li><li>Transwerk etc...</li></ul>This system allowed each of the Business Units to maintain their Employees profile and attend to queries. It catered for their Single as well as Monthly Premium Policies that they insured and Administered on behalf of their Clients. If a &nbsp;Earlier version of this system is still running at Metropolitan Windhoek, Namibia. Originally, this system was designed for FedSure's Credit Life division in 1995. After its phenomenal success in the Johannesburg Branch it was implemented in FedSure's Windhoek, Namibia Branch in June 1999. In 2001, FedSure was taken over by Investec and the Credit Life Division was moved to Hollard Insurance. The Quasi Groups System was in operation at Hollard Insurance for TEN years. The Windhoek, Namibia Branch of FedSure was taken over initially by Channel Life and subsequently by Metropolitan. The Quasi Groups System has been the loyal servant of all these companies. Member defaults on his/her premium in any month then it is reported and multiple defaults cause the Member's Policy to Lapse. When a Claim is instituted against a Member;s Policy then the Claim details are entered in to the System. Depending on the cause of the Claim, some necessary documentation has to be produced such as The Death Certificate, Police Certificate, Doctor's Report etc. The documents are scanned and attached to the Claim so that it can be examined at any given time. There are many reports that are available in the system that allows management to analyze Claims against the Categories, Scheme Type, Reasons etc. The profitability of these Schemes and Benefits can be established through these reports.
